![]() Obviously, my expectations were way too high after the release of Tearing Down The Walls (which reached the #5 spot on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2014) and the very good live album Live In London released the following year. No need to say that H.E.A.T are not tearing down any walls with their latest album but rather tearing my ears with keyboard heavy sappy and rather dull (yet still melodic and catchy) tracks.īefore I go any further, I have to remind myself that H.E.A.T are actually a melodic rock group at heart with a full-time keyboardist in the band. Quite simply, those two tracks were horrible compared to the songs on H.E.A.T‘s prior album Tearing Down The Walls. ![]() Frankly, I was going to completely write off H.E.A.T‘s latest album after listening to the first two songs - “Time On Our Side” and “Redefined” - that were released in advance of the album’s release but I had already pre-ordered the record. That is unfortunately what Swedish rockers H.E.A.T have done with their latest studio album. One step forward with Tearing Down The Walls and two steps back with Into The Great Unknown.
